Ideal location for us as close to the football stadium. Swimming pool was quiet. Communication by owner very good. Close to supermarket

Sun in afternoon on front of building so balconies in shade on back. No sun beds by pool so bought lilos and lay on them. No oven in kitchen. A bit out of town 20 mins walk to center.

We know that Gasparot is a relatively safe area, but would have liked a lock on the bedroom patio doors, and the use of a safe! One of the reasons we booked this apartment, knowing how difficult it is to park in Villajoyosa, the parking here was excellent

The kitchen facilities were poor, no kettle, (we bought one and left it there) the coffee maker was useless, The microwave had enamel missing. Called at a supermarket on the way and bought pizzas, but no oven or grill to cook them! There was an unmarked plastic bottle and some liquid soap in the shower room, were these the free toiletries? My wife tried the iron, but couldn't get it to work! We had to buy a washing up bowl, there wasn't one there, or a plug for the sink!

Property was clean and cosy. Enough room for 2/3 people. Bed in the main bedroom is extra large and comfortable. Within 5 minutes walk to supermarket and 15 minutes from Villajoyosa beach. Secure gated car park. Swimming pool was great. Property is on 1st floor and there is a lift available if you carry a big suitcase or pram. Good Wifi.

To be improved

Some wall sockets were not fixed properly and could be easily pulled out (they are safe to use but you have to be careful when unplugging your charger/device otherwise the whole thing can come out). Sliding doors to the balcony are not the best but you can lock them no problem with a bit of a wiggle. It was a bit noisy/you could hear neighbours but we sleep with ear plugs so it wasn't that bad. TV has only Spanish channels but we enjoyed the pre-programmed radio stations, Youtube app on TV is very slow. Electric kettle leaks. Toilet seat a bit wonky. Shower is OK but you have to be quick otherwise water can leak out of the shower tray.
