Unable to use pool due to poor weather, and was over twice the price of the apartment stayed at in Malaga.

INFESTED! At the time of our stay we saw ants, gnats and huge cockroaches taking over what could have been a decent space. Ants and gnats were EVERYWHERE. We found a huge cockroach in the shower, and another scurrying across the floor (which apparently no amount of insect spray can kill -we had to kill it with the actual spray bottle). And this is in a short 2 night stay. After informing the host of the Ants problem (at the time we had not discovered the roaches), they did leave us insect spray at the door the next afternoon, along with pillowcases (as only 2 of the 8 pillows had any covers on them.) In addition, the upstairs shower head was completely disconnected from the wall. There was no hand towel to dry with in the one bathroom and kitchen. The mattress protector on the bed was filthy. The pool sanitation was questionable. The pool area was definitely more worn down than the pictures suggest. It’s clear they have an insect problem but they just haven’t managed it. This could have been a good apartment. With all of this, the host has the audacity to message my husband and ask that any concerns be mentioned over chat and not left in a review, as they depend on positive reviews! I would have loved to leave a positive review if the stay had warranted one.
