In a holiday complex with nice pool area. The apartment had a new (ish) kitchen & dishwasher which weren’t expected. It was reasonably clean when we arrived & had spare towels & quilt covers but no spare sheets.

To be improved

The apartment had a padlock on the patio area security gate with no key provided, which I thought was a H&S risk, the patio had no patio furniture on it, it had no shower curtain or rail over the bath making it difficult to shower, the shower head partially fell off when water flew through it ( despite low water pressure) it had a very low water pressure making it difficult to have a bath. The air vent in the bathroom had plastic taped over it making the bathroom slightly damp. The light in the kitchen area didn’t work making the cooking area dark. There was damp on the bedroom wall. I contacted the owner several times over the first 2 week of our stay (we had rented the apartment for 6 weeks) asking her to resolve these issues but the issues were never dealt with. So I had no alternative but to report the issues to booking.com. Due to booking the apartment privately the staff on reception weren’t very helpfull, even when we asked if they could order us a taxi one day & we weren’t allowed to join in the poolside games throughout the day !!
