“Clean, Spacious, well-located.”

This is a spacious, very clean and comfortable apartment in a good location in Puertochico. There are plenty of bars and eateries nearby and it is a very short walk to the waterfront. The town centre proper is a 12 minute walk but through interesting streets and with no real hills is not a problem. The property has a small but perfectly adequate balcony which catches the sun all day. The property is well equipped with a washing machine and large fridge-freezer. The bedrooms are a good size and the beds very comfortable. All in all, a great place to stay for a couple or young family. It is good value for the money. I have put a couple of things in the box below but this is for information purposes. Don't let it put you off booking this excellent accommodation!

To be improved

Be aware there is no lift to this first floor apartment. Two short flights of stairs. The check-in system requires you to download an app to a smartphone which is fine if you have one. I don't. Fortunately, my sons do. I know people will say "who doesn't have a smartphone?" Well, I don't and there are others like me, so what would we do to check in? Also, if you lost your phone or had it stolen or it ran out of charge, what would you do. there is not alternative way of gaining entry. just something to think about

Noise from upstairs apartment and music from nearby apartment. It wasn’t very clean- our socks picked up a lot of dirt from the floor, mould in the bathroom and hairs in the bathroom. Little bit of an odd smell on arrival. Electronic lock via phone is not my preference- can be difficult when 2 travellers and you need to make sure you have phone battery etc. all the time. Shower head falls down leading to leak in the shower door, but rainfall shower works well.

“Perfect for our stay”

The best

Perfect location and apartment had everything you need. Nice little balcony in the living room so you can sit with the door open and let some air in. We loved it and should we go back to Santander we would look at booking this apartment again.
