“Excellent location for stay in Santa Cruz”

The best

Flat was clean and spacious enough for 2 people, had good and stable WiFi. Location is in walking distance to bus stop and supermarket as well as an excellent restaurant (El Monasterio). Good connectivity into city center or to the highway. Enough free public parking spaces (although sometimes you had to park 2 blocks away). Description how to find the flat was accurate, although I´d have preferred to receive OLC-coordinates to put in my SatNav. Owner did respond very quickly to any questions I had (like washing machine location/access). There was even a computer provided (for those that want to use a real keyboard). I´ll definitely book again if I have the chance!

To be improved

There was a beginning bed-bug problem (typical bitemarks on my skin) - the owner said he ordered a fumigation after I told him about the problem on checkout (with that done I´d consider the problem solved). Owner likes to communicate using WhatsApp (which is a no-go for me, we then used booking.com´s own messaging system) and only speaks Spanish (I managed by using google translate). Not enough electrical power outlets - a couple of power strips for main room and bedroom would have been nice for us digital nomads with tons of small electronic devices.
