“A basic studio, ok for a couple of nights”

The studio was modern, the bed was comfortable and the little bathroom was adequate. Location was fine as we know the city well and instructions given were clear. It was not bad value for money given the hiked up prices during feria. We wouldn’t want to spend more than a couple of nights however due to lack of facilities. The keyless entry system was pretty cool but it took us a while to realise how we could lock the door at night - you have to press the lock symbol on the outside handle just before you shut the door.

To be improved

Unfortunately the toilet became completely blocked almost immediately. We purchased a plunger and gloves as it was only a few hours before the start of feria and we were sure no one would be able to sort it out promptly. It turned out that previous occupants or during the prior cleaning, the plastic deodoriser block holder had been flushed down and this had caused the problem. Not a good start. Other than that, there is a definite lack of things you’d expect: sofa or armchair, kettle or coffee maker, cups, cutting board or sharp knife, no corkscrew, no hooks to hang towels in bathroom or a hook for shower head while showering. No long mirror which was a pity if you are trying to dress up for feria! The lighting was poor especially around kitchen area at night and it could have been cleaner around shower tray and floor by shelving unit. The walls are paper thin and voices were clearly heard from the adjoining flat but it wasn’t generally too noisy in the neighbourhood. There’s a washing machine but no where to dry anything so pretty pointless.
