“We loved the quiet location.”

Nice apartment in a clean and quiet urbanisation. The apartment was well equipped and is in an excellent location, not too far from most things but nice and quiet. The handover of the keys was smooth and no problems encountered. It was nice to arrive to some coffee pods and bottled water so we could have a coffee after the journey. Water pressure is good with plenty of hot water and there are shower gels, soaps and shampoo provided, which is great if you forget anything. There were beach chairs provided and also a shopping trolley, which was handy for visiting the Mercadona supermarket, which is approximately 15 minutes walk. The kitchen is well equipped with microwave, dishwasher and washing machine, it would benefit from a kettle but we boiled water in a saucepan. We had a hire car and parking on the street was easy and never a problem.

To be improved

As I've already said there are many positives to the apartment and we would stay again if it wasn't for the bed. Whilst appreciating that it's difficult to get right for everyone we found the bed mattress too hard, also the bed linen was quite old, worn and thin, it would benefit from replacement. If the mattress was a bit softer we'd definitely be back.

The beds, pillows and sofa were comfortable. There was plenty of hot water at all times, also lots of kitchen utensils and crockery, however not enough cups for tea and no kettle, but this wasn't included on the inventory, to be fair. It was very close to the beach, and there was a wheeled shopping trolley for the 10 minute walk to the nearest supermarket, which was most useful.

To be improved

A clearer and more accurate description of the property would have been helpful as there was no shop or bar on site, also no sun beds or chairs around the pool. In fact it wasn't clear if we could use the pool. There were no paper instructions for any of the electrical appliances or TV which would have helped, as we were unable to remove the Polish dubbing which had been applied to the tv, so had to mirror cast from a phone. The kitchen light was not connecting correctly and it would turn itself off or not come on at all until it had been tried many times. The handover of keys could have been more straightforward as we were waiting 40 minutes for the host to arrive to let us in. Had we been advised to call them on our arrival at the airport would have been helpful and cut down on the waiting time.
