The best

The location is absolutely beautiful, right next to the castle and with a gorgeous view of the beach and sea. We were able to see sunrises and sunsets from the Terrace and from the apartment itself. Five minute walk to the beach, lots of excellent restaurants within a two-minute walk of the apartment.

To be improved

This is not a dislike, but it was challenging to drive up with our luggage given the limited access in the very narrow streets on the castle property. However, we knew from other reviews that this part would be a little challenging. The lack of A/C in the second, smaller bedroom was a little tricky as well, but a fan was provided. Neither issue detracted from how much we loved the stay overall.

“Very good”

The best

Location was super. Quite a climb to the top but do-able and we are retirees. The apartment was very well equipped and well thought out. The bed and bedding were cozy and comfortable and there were some nice thoughtful touches.

To be improved

I feel we should have been told that the property was on the 3rd floor with no lift. It would have helped enormously to have some info on the basics like entry into the old town to deposit luggage, where we could park. There are several areas reserved for residents, however they are not marked well.

“Perfect flat for Peniscola”

The best

Excellent flat and friendly helpful owner. Lovely view from terrace and balcony, well equipped with dishwasher and washing machine. I especially liked the coffee machines. Comfortable bed. Well located. Clean too, and we appreciated the bottle of wine to help us settle in.

To be improved

Only lacked a couple of large mugs for tea. We were kept up by loud conversation from the flat below on our last night, despite asking them to keep the noise down at 4am. This isn't really a criticism of the flat though, which is excellent in general and we would return.

The best

Very clean and modern apartment in a privileged area. It was very well equipped and had it all. Prescious views from the terrace. Very good organization on arrival and departure, excellent contact with the host. I would recommend it without any doubt!

“Exactly the experience I wanted for my family in Peñíscola!”

The best

Beautiful, bright and clean. Love the decor! The rooftop patio is amazing. Laura was lovely and so helpful. Perfect place to stay! We had 2 adults and 3 kids (13, 10, & 8).

To be improved

The property was great! The parking in town was a little confusing but Laura was very helpful.
