The flat is a nice size, well equipped (including electric kettle) with a great view across the fishing boats to Portugal. We had quick responses to all queries.

To be improved

It's very IKea - a touch of local colour in the wall decorations for example would be nice. But it's fine.

The best

Apartment was great with a lovely little sun trap terrace very clean and modern inside with a great kitchen, very comfortable. Fab location. Parking was on a car park across the street, very handy but busy even in January.

To be improved

Had a bit of a wait for the instructions on how to access property, after a few messages had to ring in the end, asked in our practised Spanish if they hablas ingles? and said no but as soon as we mentioned apartment, oh yes we will send you instructions now via WhatsApp!! However once inside we were not disappointed.

Close to the centre of Ayamonte and its bars and restaurants. Free parking nearby. Pleasant river view.

To be improved

Unfortunately some demolition being carried out nearby (early November 2024). But that will have been completed by now (late December 2024) so no worries there.
