“The benefits exceeded the shortcomings”

The best

Great situation for Monfragüe NP. The owners were very helpful. It was a short walk to the village facilities. Although described as a loft it is in fact a very large ground floor apartment with views over the fields.

To be improved

Had an oven but it did not function. This was particularly important for us as we were staying for 7 nights. The double bed was situated in the roof space up a long ladder. A tall person would struggle to sit up in bed and not hit their head However, there were two single beds downstairs that we used

The high ceilings, the proximity to nature (the owner has sheep in the neighboring field). Wonderful kitchen, but (see below)...

To be improved

The kitchen has a wonderful oven, but it needs more cookware for a longer stay. The pool was just OK.
