Rating: ⭐⭐☆☆☆ (2 out of 5) Review Title: Disappointing Experience – Unannounced Cameras, Utilities Outage & Noise Issues We recently stayed at this property with our three children, and unfortunately, the experience was far below expectations for several serious reasons. 🔴 Undisclosed Security Cameras Inside the Apartment During our stay, we discovered three indoor Ajax-brand security cameras inside the apartment, covered with adhesive bandages. These were located in private areas and were not disclosed anywhere in the listing. This raised serious privacy and GDPR concerns, especially since we were staying with children. It was extremely unsettling and unacceptable. 🔧 Water Outage for Over 5 Hours On June 30, the apartment had no running water for over 5 hours (2 PM–7 PM). We could not shower, use the toilet, or wash up after a beach day. This disrupted our evening plans entirely. We had to buy and carry water from a local store just to flush the toilet. No compensation or meaningful apology was offered by the hosts. 🚫 No Response from Hosts We contacted the hosts (Joseph and Martina) directly regarding the water outage and requested partial compensation. They never responded, which was frustrating and unprofessional. 🐜 Hygiene Concerns We also found small insects in the kitchen area. I took photos as proof — not what you’d expect from a property listed at this price point. 🔊 Serious Noise Issues from Elevator The apartment is oddly constructed around a building elevator, which is visible from a bedroom and a bathroom through dirty windows. Elevator noise was constant and loud, especially early in the morning and late at night. It woke our children and made restful sleep difficult. The noise was made worse by a nearby vacation rental family using the elevator with a young child who was often screaming. Overall, this stay was disappointing and stressful.

“Beautiful apartment, excellent location”

met by the hosts with the keys and shown how to use things. the apartment is in a fantastic location right near to all the restaurants but its not noisy at night. Rooms were great with comfy beds and air con in them all. Had everything we needed in terms of cooking. Second bathroom was a bit small and my son (6ft) couldn't use the shower but the main shower was really nice so he just used that.

wasn't advised how to leave the apartment, assumed someone was meeting us but then told to leave the keys there. No major issue as they answered a quick call and told me what to do

Beautiful and well-equipped apartment. Perfect for families who value peace and quiet. Very clean, friendly and helpful owner Joan and Martina. The welcome gift in the fridge was very nice. Beautiful view of the port, lots of restaurants and bars nearby. Close to the shop. The elevator was also useful. We heartily recommend it and we will definitely come back.
