Moldy shower cabin with a curtain prone to fall down. The toilet is so close to the shower cabin wall that you're guaranteed to knock your knee at some point. Dirty floors. Bonus: A healthy ant population somewhere in the walls behind the kitchen counter. They formed an ant trail right through the living room to the balcony door. Dirty towels (clumps of hair presumably from the washing machine). Bed sheet is too small -> it pops over the edges and you wake up on the bare mattress. Windows provide no sound insulation whatsoever, like it doesn't matter if they're open or closed, you hear everything going on downstairs - and Malaga isn't particularly quiet at night. No A/C in the bedroom, so you need to leave the door to the living room open. Overly perfumed cleaning agents + scent diffuser in the bathroom + scented flowers in the living room had us feel like going to the cheap perfume section in a drug store.
