Olmares has great character and many traditional features which have been restored, providing facilities for guests. An enclosed courtyard, shared and private patio facilities. Spacious living accommodation with excellent log burners as well as radiator heating. There is a comfortable lounge with books, games, etc. Situated high on the hillside there are great, far reaching views from all areas and rooms (apart from the enclosed courtyard). It is a short drive into Potes for many restaurants, outdoor activity companies, shops, etc. The supreme strength of Olmares is Eva. She is an outstanding host who is not only charming and friendly but also cares about every part of each guests visit. She not only gives very good advice but will go out of her way to help with arrangements and problem solving. A lady with a wide experience of life and a wonderful personality. It was a delight to meet her.

The view from the balcony down the valley was spectacular and changed constantly - you could sit and watch it all day. Eva was very welcoming and helpful. You enter the property via a communal courtyard which was very interesting with lots to look at and a great place to chill around the BBQ. The property is very quiet and peaceful being outside of Potes, but Potes is only an easy 20 minute drive away, where there are plenty of restaurants etc. The local provisions provided by Eva, were lovely. The place has all that you need and a great place to chill and enjoy the peace and quiet.

Outstanding views and property - peaceful and beautiful with the experience of living as a local in a very traditional home and village. Eva makes your stay memorable.
