We paid a lot of money for this property and found out it was bed bug infested. Despite us letting the property holder know this, we were given no choice to receive compensation. My friend and I are covered in bites and we also took images of the bed bug shells to send to the occupier which were not only in the bed, but also in the sofa, however all we received was an apology over text. On collecting our luggage on check out, the occupier didn’t mention a thing about the bed bugs. I would like to receive a refund or compensation as this was far from a relaxing holiday.
