Location and size of apartment

One of the bathrooms smelt of sewage which got worst during our stay; there were no tea towels; the shower was not well stocked with toiletries; towels were literally piled into large cupboards - they were not laid out for us; there was only one extra pillow in the twin room; the fridge was empty so no basics were provided; the check in person was rather unfriendly - he told me to read the instructions when I queried what floor the apartment was on but when I gave feedback he took it in good part. In summary there was no care or personal touch to this apartment inspite of the cost. It was a huge contrast to the experience we had in our apartment in San Sebastián. I would say though that Ainhoa was always very helpful and also arranged a taxi for us.

Lovely feel and ambience to the apartment. Great location. Surprisingly quiet despite the bustling activity outside.

Just need to say apartment on first floor to make the check-in easier.

The location was amazing, beautiful views. The apartment is upstairs & is on a road buyt not very busy Very sweet place

To be improved

The ceiling is very low in the kitchen & entrance to the bathroom. I am 163cm & I had to duck!

“Perfect place to stay and enjoy visiting Bilbao”
The best

Wonderful apartment - comfortable, spacious and well equipped. Great location near the cathedral and in the heart of the old town. 15 min pleasant walk along riverside to get to the Guggenheim. Perfect !
