Apartamento Rambla Catalunya

Very small and a bit old furniture. Outdated. Not maintained well enough. Broken contacts. In terms of cleanliness, much more could be desired

We were overcharged for taxes and were told that they have increased since May 1st even though that was not true, after complaining the amount overcharged was returned to me(Camilo was the one that originally send me a picture on WhatsApp as a prove of him returning the money, but he lied and never left the money in the apartment, when I called him he told me to talk to the owner and hung up on me, this situation was stressful and unnecessary). The apartment’s furniture and finish are of very low standard, the building is dirty , no light on the hallway which was problematic when opening doors to apartment, both lamps in the living room were not working, the sofa bed was broken and it was making so much noise that was waking me up , the kettle doesn’t have an automatic shot off and the handle gets incredibly hot, the shower was dirty and moldy, the socket by the sink in the bathroom was broken so we couldn’t use it. I would not recommend this apartment there are better options in Barcelona.

The sofa in the living room was not the comfiest ( it had a little incline), maybe for smaller kids is ok, but not for adults. I personally missed a dish drying rack in the kitchen. The apartment also lacks sound isolation, especially from the side of the bedroom from where you enter the bathroom. Every time the neighbors used the toilet and the shower we heard it in our room very loudly.
