The size and location were perfect and the host was very helpful and friendly.

The floorboards are quite creaky but that can’t be helped and wasn’t a huge issue.

The best

Great location only about 5 minutes walk across the bridge to the old town. Close to shops, restaurants, cafes, and transport. Very clean, comfortable contemporary furnishings. While it’s on a busy road the soundproofing is quite good. Lovely light and airy outlook. Excellent communication from host. The building has a small lift.

To be improved

Two of the bedrooms are connected by doors with opaque glass so a blockout blind would have ensured less disturbance if one occupant has the lights on at night. It’s an old building so you may sometimes hear the upstairs neighbours moving about their apartment.
