The best

The apartment is in a quiet location and there is free parking very close. The beds were comfortable and we slept well.

To be improved

The kitchen area is very small and there is only a hob and a microwave. The living/ dining area is also small, it would be very crowded with 6 people. There were only 3 of us, so it was ok. When we arrived there was an unpleasant smell throughout the flat from the drains, this went away after 24 hours, so obviously no one had been in there for a while. It was a self check-in which worked ok, but it would have been nice if someone had been in beforehand to plug in the fridge and air the rooms. Instead, we were sent detailed instructions on how do to this ourselves, along with many house rules. We were sent lots of instructions both via Booking.com and by WhatsApp. It seems to be run by an organisation as there were several other flats with the same logo in the block. There is no WiFi, which was advertised as being available when I booked, apparently they cancelled it due to the cost. When I complained they did offer to reimburse me for a couple of days’ worth, but in the end we managed without.

“Wonderful stay in El Bosque”

The best

Very spacious, comfortable, well-equipped apartment. Many rooms and items in the apartment have been recently renewed (incl. beds, bathroom, etc). Various restaurants are at walking distance. You can easily park on the square in front of the apartment (we arrived on a week day though).

To be improved

The walls are very thin (as is the case for many older buildings), and the neighbours are loud. At night it was okay though. Ear plugs also help. ;-)
