“Perfect apartment and a perfect location”

The best

A really great self catering apartment set over three levels, right in the middle of town. You come in and up the stairs to the open plan kitchen diner with living room, this was a great space as you can be preparing meals, still part of the conversation, but the space was large enough those not helping prepare food were not in your way. There is a toilet off of this area. The next floor up has two bedrooms, one twin, and one double with a day bed, and also the family bathroom with bath and shower overhead. We really liked that the bedrooms were on a separate level to the living space, as if anyone was up early or late, they were not directly outside the bedrooms. Then the top floor, the roof - really lifts the property, was great for hanging out in the sun, or in the shade as there were awnings. There was an outdoor sofa and table with chairs, in addition to a sun lounger, so we were able to use this space in multiple ways. There was also a barbecue, which we didn't use, and an outdoor sink, which was handy to have. Each bedroom and the living space had aircon, which was great as we visited in the summer. The washing machine was helpful to refresh some tops and for washing the towels provided twice during our stay. Immediately outside the apartment are shops and some bars/ cafes. There is a little bit of expected noise from them, but truthfully if you closed the windows you were not very aware of it, and the music was always jolly and it wasn't late into the evening. This really was a great apartment and I would definitely look to book it again and recommend it to others.

To be improved

There really isn't much to criticise, but the only thing we though was missing was a bedside light for the both beds in the twin room. There were none, but as there were two in the master bedroom, and two friends holidaying together, we could easily move one bedside light from the master bedroom to the twin room.
