“One of those very nice apartments with a spectacular view you just don't want to leave from....”

The best

We were 3 people (my wife, 8-year-old son and I) staying for 11 days in mid February. Purpose: recreation in combination with - for me - cycling training camp. Keri, the caretaker of the apartment: very kind, smiling and indeed helpful with our requests and also got us a tv fire stick in order to make the tv a smart tv. She responds and handles things swiftly and effeciently. The apartment: Very big with spacious rooms, two bathrooms, a huge balcony with an open angle allowing a 270 degree stunning mountain and sea view. The apartment is on one floor which is really nice. Bathrooms and bedrooms are in one end, kitchen, living room and balcony in the other end. The entrance in the middle of the apartment is also spacious. Washing machine and dishwasher: worked perfectly and was nice to have. Bathrooms: very nice and clean. Very calcified shower heads at first but Keri quickly handled that. Furniture and beds: All very comfortable. Pillows: superceeded our expectations. No need to bring your own. Comforters: Warm and nice. Heat: 3 aircons in both bedrooms and living room quickly warms up the place if needed. Cleanliness: We received the apartment very clean everywhere. Never noticed dust or stains in any rooms. Parking: You can park outside to empty your car and then park it about 10-15 meters from the apartment. There was always plenty of space during our stay. Location: The apartment is about 1 km up from the main road on the hillside of a small mountain and you need a car. It offers stunning views and you have access to both a very nice and spacious pool area, a ping pong table, a tennis court + half a basket ball court and a football court. We used both the tennis, basketball and football nearly every day. Extras: little things like detergent, salt & pepper etc, paper towl, soap, shampoo, toilet paper, plastic bags for bins are all in the apartment. You can even make fresh orange juice with the little machine in the kitchen.

To be improved

First and over all: absolutely no complaints whatsoever. The people downstairs are also very nice. I imagine we will come back to Salobrena. For me it's a great area for cycling in the Sierra Nevada mountains and there's a lot to see in the area. I would for sure choose this apartment again and my wife and son also loved it! :-) A few mentions to consider: The outer part of one of the bedroom's aircon makes a somewhat noticeable bass sound which can be a bit disturbing. I never really noticed the sound from the two others so maybe that one just needs a service check. The cutlery and some plates were left rather dirty in the drawer and cupboard. It's an issue seen quite often in rental apartments and is of course from the previous guests so the caretaker cannot be blamed for this. We just decided to clean whatever we took out first time of the drawer and cupboards. A few kind suggestions: - A larger amount of cutlery. Especially if you're more than 3 guests. We ran out quite often. - For the balcony: one more armchair or maybe add a little couch. We were 3 guests and there were only two arm chairs. - I recommend those things / silencers under the legs of furniture so that they dont make that eerie sound when you push a dining or armchair on the tile floor. We wondered where the BBQ on the balcony from the pictures was but never needed it thus never asked :-)

The best

Very well equipped kitchen and a fantastic balcony with a massive barbecue. Quiet area and big space in all the rooms.

To be improved

At the beginning of our stay we had problems with the Internet connection which was a problem for us as we work online. But they sorted it out and in the end we had super fast internet access.
