“Beautiful apartment in great location”

The best

The apartment is really lovely with great decor and good facilities. The location is good - close to shops, the river and places to eat - and the area felt safe. It was a little difficult to find a parking space in the (free) public car park when we arrived (around 1pm) but we noticed more spaces became available as the day progressed. There was a lot of resurfacing of local streets going on while we were visiting so this undoubtedly put additional pressure on the main public car park.

To be improved

Our only criticism would be the cooking facilities. The kitchen is well-equipped, however there is no oven and my partner found the hob incredibly difficult to turn on (it required a lot of pressure). She also found it hard to control the hob temperature, which resulted in one burnt meal. Obviously, this isn't an issue if you're planning to eat out every night, but it did make cooking in the apartment more of a chore than it should have been. There was no electric kettle either. Don't expect a view despite the close proximity to the riverfront.
