Private parking below the apartment was very good. · Cons: It was great to have the air-conditioning as it was 39° when we were there. It was rather noisy at night though. That's all.”

“Comfortable & beautiful apartment for a few days in Mérida”

The best

The property was very clean, spacious and well laid out. Well equipped kitchen. Perfect apartment for a small family. There is also a large enclosed patio area. Ideal for dining outside when the weather is nice but the area is overlooked by properties above. There is a small park out at the front of the building block which will be ideal for children. The property is located a short walk from the archaeological centre of Mérida. A free car park a located short walk away which we used, despite having an allocated space in the basement of the apartment (see below)

To be improved

Getting to the allotted parking space in the basement was a scary experience. The way down was steep, deep, dark and narrow - definitely not recommended for larger vehicles or drivers with a nervous disposition. Plus make very sure that you use the correct exit door or you may end up in a different part of the building. During our stay there was a loose floor tile near the doorway between the dining room and the bedroom area.

It was fairly easy to find and in a good location for walking into town to see the Roman ruins, our main reason for visiting.

To be improved

Though parking was included, it is a very narrow parking garage, don’t show up with anything bigger than a medium sized car.
