“Wonderful place to feel at home in”

The best

What we liked: - that it is in an old house in a hidden square, next to the old town- 1 minute walk away. Right in front of the house is a small carpark. Unfortunately, many people know about this hidden carpark so it’s not easy to get a spot. We got one a little further and only 3 min walk away. - that the apartment had character (old but recently renovated to a high standard with modern conveniences and decorated tastefully, comfortable beds and large shower) - that Fernando was really nice and very flexible with checkin and checkout (obviously this depends on whether there are other guests leaving or coming but we were lucky).

To be improved

Nothing. We loved everything. We only stayed one night and were only two persons so the apartment was very spacious for us. It is ideal for a family as the master bedroom only has access to the bathroom and stairs through the 2nd bedroom.

“Perfect location”

The best

We loved staying here. The apartment was located in a perfect spot to visit the city. Parking was right in front of the place. The host was very attentive. We would stay there again.

To be improved

There was a heat wave going on so we were hot sleeping. One fan was provided. It would have been nice to have one for the other bedroom.

To be improved

There was a miscommunication regarding where to leave the keys on leaving the apartment. I would advise all guests to ensure they do not lock the flat door before knowing that the communal front door is open. This is because the host told me to leave the keys in the flat on leaving which I did. However when I went to leave the communal door was locked. As the keys were by then locked inside the apartment I was stuck in the communal hallway. I tried telephoning the host but he did not answer. I ended up missing my train, missing a lunch in Valenica with friends because of this door problem.
