“Nice, bright and spacious apartment”

The best

The apartment itself was lovely-bright and spacious (for a 1 bed apartment). The bathroom is really nice- new and clean. The washing machine is really handy and you can dry your clothes out front. Everyone was really friendly in the apartment block, always saying hello.on the stairs etc. It felt safe and a nice place to be. The location is really close to the beach and some great restaurants. It is reasonably equipped (we did not cook any meals, but for snacks and a short stay it is great).

To be improved

Although noted in the description, the lack of WiFi is frustrating as signal can come and go. There is free parking, but in the 4 days we stayed we could not get a space- we checked early every morning and throughout the day to see if we could move the car in, but no luck. There is affordable parking around the town, but finding a space over the weekend is also a challenge. Lastly, the apartment is directly above a very busy and loud bar that is open until 3/4am. With the windows shut we managed to get some sleep, but if they were open it wouldn't have been possible (there is no fan or other means of keeping cool without the windows open). If you are a light sleeper you might struggle to get any rest.
