“Marvellous Maro.”
The best

Friendly and helpful staff, lovely room with balcony overlooking the sea, mountains and historic towers. Proximity to the beach and Nerja. There is a lovely little cafe next door with fresh fish. You can eat outdoors under a pergola, covered in bougainvillea with sparrows and ring-necked doves hopping around. The views are incomparable. Maro is a little bit of heaven and the unpretentious Apartamentos Balcon de Maro have it all.

There were a few apartments with a smaller balcony and no table in it and unfortunately we got one of those.

Older, but well maintained and clean unit with good beds and bedding. Seamless booking in and we were accommodated with an earlier check in. Beautiful view over the sea. Small but adequate kitchen area and enough utensils

To be improved

Unit is on the small street, so one must expect the sound of vehicles and people passing. Not serious as there is double glass and an air conditioner.
