The best

Perfect location in a lively old street. Host was very helpful when needed. We loved the atmosphere of the area and the vibrancy of Bermeo.

To be improved

Although perfect in every other way, the apartment needs a couple of chopping boards for the kitchen and fans for the bedrooms. I must warn other visitors.....DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO THE RESTRICTED ZONES OF THE OLD TOWN. Park at the harbour instead.

“A relaxing stay in an interesting small town and port in a beautiful coastal area.”
The best

The ‘attic’ apartment is in the old town of Bermeo. Easy to find and very clear instructions for self check-in. Comfortable with two bedrooms separated by the living room. An easy walk to the port, bars and restaurants, but you need to be fit, the three flights of stairs are steep, as are some of the streets. The old town is vehicle free but there is plenty of free parking nearby. I think you can drive in to drop off luggage. We loved our few days here, taking the bus into Bilbao and walking along the coast.

To be improved

As it is on the top floor the bedroom ceilings are low. A little niggle, the kitchen cupboards lack ‘bumper pads’ so have to be closed carefully to avoid slamming them!
