“Rude unfriendly place, stay away!”

We reserved this apartment the same day of our arrival in Sierra Nevada. We checked the photos, but we didn’t understand upfront why the photos look good but the booking.com rating is quite low compared to how it looks

After booking we received a confirmation email in Spanish, not our language. From this email we understood this following times and amount for late check in: 21:00h hasta 22:30h: 15€. 22:35h hasta: 01:00: 30€. 01:05h hasta las 03:00h: 50€. We decided to arrive for 30 eur extra late because we had a late dinner. The small information how we have to apply for late checking was so unclear in Spanish we didn’t get that. When arriving at the hotel we called the phone number on the door. Someone picked up and was really unfriendly. Rude saying we cannot sleep there and that we have to call Booking.com this was not his problem. Call disconnected, it was -10 degrees outside and no other hotel available in town. We slept in a parking garage on a bench. We never experienced such a rude treatment. We understand why rating is low, host is extremely unfriendly and unfair. Booking contacted the hotel but they refused to give my money back so I paid for nothing.

The first big issue it was that we weren’t given the apartment we’ve rent, the bedrooms weren’t made, there wasn’t toilet paper, there wasn’t enough kitchen utensils for everyone, from broken doors to chairs we couldn’t count the amount of things broken in the house. We understand the need to make money but services is the minimum to make a good stay. For sure, super expensive for an horrible experience.

“I wouldnt recommend this place to anybody”

I liked the location, very close to down town, restaurants, sky centers. etc

I booked an apartment that the pictures were a modern and renovated property with a great view, and we received an old, horrible and dirty apartment with NO view. Mold everywhere, walls stained, nothing to cook, pans scratches, curtine broken, hair on bedsheets, the beds had a rough cover, bathroom with no vents or windows, NO WIFI at all, TV extremely old with horrible quality definition, faucet loose. When I claimed the property manager at front desk, he said it is not his fault, this is the way booking works. Worse experience ever

“All was use booking . Com never again”

Booked room but given different room than on web site which said had 1 double bed 2 bunk beds 2 single beds .room we had had 1 double 2 single 1 sofa so one person slept on floor

Check my booking and your see mis sold so it spoiled are night which was ment to be a treat

“Awful, avoid!”

Beds were uncomfortable and unmade when we got there. We had to request more pillows and blankets so that we had at least one per guest. Kitchen area tiny and not equipped. Electricity kept cutting out when we were in the shower and the water went freezing cold.
