“Bad, bad, bad! Avoid if you can. Host clearly taking advantage.”

The best

Nothing! It was an ugly building on a busy main road. Peeling paint in hallway. We booked a 3 bedroom appt plus two separate rooms with shared bathroom. The host put us in a 4 bed appt instead, resold the other two rooms we’d booked and just put extra camp beds into the bedrooms to make up the extra number of beds. As a result the rooms were ridiculously overcrowded with nowhere to walk or put anything and we were 3 people to a room. One of us ended up putting the camp bed in the kitchen and sleeping there! Additionally we were a bathroom short. When we eventually got hold of him he reluctantly said he had two other rooms in another building one km away that some of us could stay in and said he’d drive us back and forth for meals etc. As a group of ladies (doing the Camino) we didn’t consider this safe and certainly not convenient as we were leaving very early the next morning and just wanted to eat and go straight to bed.

To be improved

The rooms were dated, the bathroom had hairs in the shower plug and the plastic trim for the shower doors was coming off. It was ridiculously hot. By FAR the worst accom on Camino, even allowing for the price paid. Host reluctantly agreed to refund ONE room and asked me to cancel one, which I did. Still waiting for the money!

“Location was great, but we had some difficulty identifying where the property was in relation to the traffic circle by which we walking. Also, there was a slight cigarette smell from some other residents smoking near the apartment T entrance. But the apartment itself was superb, comfortable beds! lots of food available to purchase (minimal), and a clothes dryer- well received. Additionally, the hotel next door had fixed price menu- wonderful amounts of food! I would recommend this place again!!!”

“Ok in a pinch”

The best

This place is ok if there is nothing else about. There was a coffee machine and washer and dryer. Our room was small but comfortable except for the pillows.

To be improved

We found this place difficult to find. It’s in an apartment block and there is no signage. We found the entry key finding experience ok once we found we were at the right building. It was overly complicated to work out the rest - find the floor, the apartment entry door, the room key. The tv in our room didn’t work, and the coffee machine didn’t work. There were at least 4 rooms, which is generally 8 people and only 1 combined shower and toilet. The linen cupboard for the entire enterprise was in our room. It would be better somewhere else.
