“Weekend in Jerez”

To be improved

It’s quite small for 2 adults and 2 kids, bathroom is small and the shower drain doesn’t work correctly. There are mosquitos in the flat, and the air conditioning is only in the bedroom.

“Nice location in the middle of the Jerez, getting in was painless and allowed us to check in at any time by just entering the PIN. Appartment was well stocked (even with cutlery, which is a bit hidden inisde a nested drawer, so other reviews complain about the lack of it) · Cons: It was a bit small for advertised 4 people, especially with Sofa bed set up (luckily we only stayed overnight). Shower head was broken - it spurted water from the side. Nearest parking is fairly far and pricey.”

The best

I liked the tradtional character of the apartment. The bed was comfortable. Sheets and towels were new. Kitchen was good, once we'd managed to locate the cutlery!

To be improved

Despite being advertised as having WiFi in all areas there was NONE. I contacted the managers and was told they would get maintenance to sort it out. It didn't happen. I ended up having to go and purchase a data SIM at a cost of €20. Water spurted out of the showerhead. You had to turn the water flow down to stop this from happening. No handles or knobs on the bedroom door. Once closed it was difficult to open. It wasn't always possible to get onto the communal terrace. We could see it from the apartment and there was dog excrement on the ground for most of our three night stay.

“We booked a room with a washing machine (as a priority as we had an unexpected stay extension). When we got to the accommodation, there was no WM, but communications to resolve this via WhatsApp were exceptionally prompt. · Cons: Nowhere did I find SMARTRENT is legitimate company linked to booking through booking.com. Booking.com tell us to ignore links and scams. It looks like one, asking for extra cash. I made various querys what was this for noonr said it was a deposit for damages. All said that's the way things are if you want access - Booking.com tells me I could pick up keys?”
