“Different Apartment - under construction and without a local accommodation license number!”

We rented this apartment for two nights, but upon arriving, we were informed of an overbooking situation and relocated to another, supposedly much better, according to the host. However, this new apartment was in very poor condition: under construction, without a kitchen, without the contracted amenities, including a safety and first aid kit and fire extinguisher, and with security problems, such as the apartment door not having a lock (just pushing it to open) and exposed electrical wires. Likewise, there was no table or chairs, not even a trash can. The shower did not have protective glass, making it impossible not to leave the bathroom floor full of water and slippery. The walls were unpainted, with signs of electrical points and unfinished, particularly on the window frames. When confronting the owner with the lack of habitability conditions, he responded aggressively, refusing any solution. He systematically stalked us on the street and terraces, maintaining the statement that there was nothing missing in the apartment and that it even had water (!), going so far as to threaten us that he would throw our belongings out on the street if we didn't agree to inform Booking that we had stayed in the original reserved apartment. On the second day of our stay, someone was in the apartment assembling Ikea furniture that had previously been against the walls. Also that day, the building's lock was removed, leaving the apartment and everything we had completely exposed to anyone who wanted to enter without the need of a key. When the host was asked for the local accommodation license number, he replied, always in a threatening manner, that he did not have one and it didn’t matter.
