As mentioned by others, there was initially a bad smell from the bathroom drainage system, but either it improved or I got used to it, and it was just a minor issue. Also a bread knife and kettle would be useful additions to the kitchen equipment.

We were travelling by cycle for the full day before arrival and were not aware of their request for our passport details earlier in the day. We had difficulty sending WhatsApp images of our passports as signal was poor outside the property, without which we could not have the entry code. We were left waiting outside until the host drove over. The digital entry code to our apartment didn’t work so we were told to use the key option, but this meant that we couldn’t lock the property from the inside when we went to bed (no key hole on inside). The WiFi code we were given only worked in the garden and not inside the property. Our phones inside picked up another network named after the property, but we didn’t have the password for this. There was no shampoo in the dispenser in the shower. My husband put out a large cockroach that walked into the lounge early evening. We couldn’t make coffee as the only method available was a pod system maker and there were no pods or anywhere local to buy them. I wanted to swim, but there was a little dead shrew and a live frog in the pool so this put me off. It wasn’t what I would call a “private” pool either as it was shared with at least 6 other apartments. This is a fabulous modern apartment block with great views, but someone from the letting agency needs to try it out in order to see the reality.

the building appears to have been poorly insulated and we could hear footsteps, talking and flushing/showering from the flat above. This made sleeping quite difficult. The terrace was dirty and uninviting. For the price we expected me. No support in person at the property which would be good given the price paid.

Little poor kitchen equipment. No information about wifi. Private patio surrounded by only white walls, very simple.
