Apartamentos El Sardinal

Upon arrival no-one came to open the door or deliver the key with check-in, we had to receive it from the painter, working in the same building. On first impression the furniture looks nice and cosy, but as soon as you touch it, it fell apart. In every lamp is a cold, white light installed, not cosy at all. There was birdpoop in many places like the floor, walls and curtains. In the kitchen there was no seasoning, no cooking oil, no sharp knives and no cutting boards. There was only one frying pan and one cooking pot. Most of the dishes in the kitchen were still dirty. There was no warm in the kitchen or from the showers. In the bathroom there weren’t enough towels for 2 people, definitely not for the 8 days we stayed. We had no dining table, so we ate all our meals on the tiny coffee table in the living room. There was no Wi-Fi for the first day and last 2 days. On the third day, we discovered a dead bird under the stove in the kitchen. When we reached out to the owner, asking to have the animal removed, he replied with ‘’I will tell the cleaner’’. It was not cleaned up during our stay. When I tried to contact the owner via the booking.com website, we only received a reaction 1 in 4 times. We never got any response by the phone number we texted or called.
