The apartment was clean except sandwich maker .. didn't use though and beds memory foam and Comfortable.. Good towels and toiletries. staff were very helpful and useful to know they were on site. Location was central but pedestrianised.. so taxi drops off end of road. Heating was good and much needed. Breakfast was OK too.

Reception was on second floor.. Lift from first floor only..steps up to lift.. no good for disabled or elderly. 2 bed apart was in a separate entrance 2 doors down and fully accessible by lift. The noise outside, people and music.. at night was horrendous until 2am at least.. then shutters to bars down and then up again about 7am. .. ear plugs didn't help much. The apartment needs some TLC to damaged areas.. very little equipment in the kitchen.. you couldn't self cater.. and no kettle. No lounge area.. to gather. Very hard to find.. you need to look for the cafe/ bar el tiempo and door to right of that with an intercom.

We really enjoyed the location in the heart of Madrid and appreciated having an elevator being on the top floor. The beds were comfortable.

To be improved

The layout of the apartment was odd which made it cold in some rooms and hot in others.
