“Great location for Picos de Europa”

The best

Apartamentos El Valle are perfect for accessing Picos de Europa, it takes 25mins to get to Poncebos by car. Our apartment was spotless clean and had everything that we needed during our stay. The bed was firm, which we liked but this is obviously down to personal preference. Kitchen was very well equipped with the fridge, microwave, oven, dishes, pots, pans, coffee maker, etc. The bathroom was very stylish and hairdryer was provided. Wifi was a bit slow but good enough for mapping hiking routes. The hosts were super nice and helpful, and even provided a bottle of local cider as a welcome gift - thank you!

To be improved

The villa is located right next to a main road, which we hadn’t checked in detail when booking. The road is not very busy but since we live in a very quiet area we found the traffic initially disturbing but got used to it surprisingly quickly. It didn't interrupt us in the night as everything goes quiet around 9PM and we were out most day hiking anyway so not a big issue in the end.
