The hosts were friendly, helpful and coped very well with our poor command of Spanish. It is well located in a lovely town in an area of exceptional natural beauty. Very quiet and relaxing with easy access to much of what the National Park Monfrague has to offer which is exceptional, it is walking distance to a selection of places to eat and drink

To be improved

The soft furnishings could have been softer; the property is adequately but basically furnished; crockery, cutlery, glassware all very mix & match, a little tired and in need of a refresh. The listing says there is a iron, hairdryer and clothes airer in the property. There are communal washing lines, and if you ask there is a hair dryer and iron available on request. I presume we were near the end of season but the pool wasn't available to us and on our last full day some of the garden furniture was packed up and removed.

The best

The accommodation is located in a quiet town/village set in a national part. It was quiet and peaceful and our host was fantastic. She offered us milk and essentiaks etc which was great at the end of a day's driving. Lovely lady who made us feel welcome. We were travelling with a dog and the apartment was large enough for us all. Even though it was a Sunday food was available locally, our host recommended it and it lived up to the recommendation.
