Apartamentos Gorbea

Make sure to book your car park before arrival to avoid disappointment. The ski cellar looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in years and the restaurant opens relatively late which means you either go to the centre to eat and rush to make the lift up before 19.45 or you walk a lot of stairs

We felt like Mary and Joseph staying in the stables. When we opened the door to our room, we were greeted by beautiful plywood walls and furniture constructed from particle board. The heat had not been turned on in preparation for our visit, so I had to keep my snow pants on to keep warm for the first hour of our stay. The sheets seemed to have been cleaned, although I found a long black hair in my bed. The blankets, on the other hand, had obviously not been cleaned -- there were several suspicious white stains on dark blue blankets... gross! When we asked for new clean blankets, we were handed what seemed to be a table cloth. The shower is built of more cheap wood paneling which is actively molding from the moisture. I found some yummy brown stains on one of the hand towels, so I placed that on the shower floor so that my feet wouldn't be in contact with the unclean conditions. There was no soap/shampoo provided. Although the kitchenette would have been nice to utilize for breakfast, I was scared to use utensils provided in an accommodation which was so obviously unhygienic and filthy. This was a sad, sad stay. I cried.

I recommend the apartments. They are close to the bars and restaurants. The apartments are clean and the underfloor heating keeps them warm all day. The reception staff are very friendly. For budget accommodation I can not fault it.

If you book with the office attached to these apartments be very careful, I booked these apartments via booking.com for a 2 bedroomed apartment in Monte Gorbea. Upon arrival I was told we were in a different apartment [and only 1 bedroom] on the next road up and definitely not of the same standard, also health and safety issues..!! nothing was done to resolve the problem and booking.com also do not want to assist.. very unhappy and disappointed with the standard and services of both parties. We go every year to Monte Gorbea, so not to stay where you have booked is unacceptable unless we were advised or it is of the same standard in the same area.

It was very good I love this hotel and the rooms are big and confort we passed a very good week in this super hotel near to the mecanical remontée. The garage is very big and have big places. The personal is super

Stopped here for 1 night whilst on route to Granada Cracking location - just up the steps from the main square (2 mins walk) Parking was outside and the rooms were just the job, great value last minute booking Room was clean and tidy - no air con but this was not needed as it was cool enough at night
