“Lovely stylish stay in the country - could be more practical!”

The best

The location was so gorgeous at the top of the hill in the countryside. Locals friendly. Lots of lovely walks on your doorstep. The property was super clean and well stocked, love the walking sticks. The decoration was very stylish. The shower was amazing (the toilet was a bit weird with a see through door) Parking was nearby so that was easy. The host sends videos of how to get there and get in which was great!! Even though we still got it wrong!! Oops. The host helped us access when we had issues. Lovely little place.

To be improved

Whilst very stylish - at times it felt style had been chosen over practically. The downstairs was small, over half the space was taken up by a table you could fit 8 people round, yet it’s an apartment for 2! The sofa was pointed a different direction from the tv so only one person could sit on it. Upstairs huge spacious windows that everyone could see in. There is no air con so to open the windows you have to pull the huge blinds up but then the street light shone in!! And the outside furniture whilst very funky, an old cable reel and log to sit on, it was sooo uncomfortable and you couldn’t eat or drink outside. A hammock would be amazing outside here !! To lie in after a long day walking . Thanks for the lovely stay.
