“Value for money!”

The best

The hosts were really great and nice, very flexible with arrivals and departures, and all together very helpful. The apartment building is situated in the centre of the town on, what seemed to me, like the main town street. I was there off the main season so it was quite - my apartment did not, however, overlook the main street but the courtyard. The apartment was as on photos. The furnishing is perhaps not up to date but everything you need is there, everything works, is clean and tidy. The beach is 2 minutes walking distance as well as most great places to eat and drink. The port where I rented a car was some 5-6 minutes away and I had no difficulty finding a parking space (again, I was there in April)

“My room was on the same floor as the reception (up one flight of stairs from ground level) and overlooked a small internal courtyard. It was quiet during my stay (7 nights). The location was excellent - less than 10 minutes walk on the level to the main bus stops and pick-up points for tours. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room facilities were fine for the price. I didn’t use the kitchen facilities other than the fridge. · Cons: I found two cockroaches in the bathroom one evening. I reported this to the reception the following morning and the staff cleaned and sprayed the room. I didn’t see any more cockroaches. The mobile signal was weak in the room (presumably due to thick walls) but the free wifi was adequate. No password was required to access the wifi, but the signal didn’t extend beyond the guesthouse.”

“Great way to spend some time in Santa Cruz de La Palma”

Location is great, right on the main historical thoroughfare. The beach is one minute away. Excellent, helpful people at the reception. Room was very comfortable, and the kitchen had a good supply of tools.

To be improved

Being right on the main drag, be advised that it can be a little noisy, from pedestrians out front to nearby stores being renovated. But my room was set back a little bit from the street and the noise wasn't really an issue. Also, things quiet down early on La Palma, and by bedtime I usually heard little more than the gentle waves.

“It is in the perfect location, Jonas and Karin are great and very friendly they will tell you everything you want to know about the island and help you with whatever you want. The appartement has view on the ocean and there is also a roof terras where you can chill in the sun and hang out. Everything is taken care of in the apartment, extra sheets, washing soap, complete kitchenware and even oil and vinigar for your salad.”
