“wonderful experience and looking at Christmas time to return”

we felt that the location of the apartment was central to all bars, restaurants and shops. The room was cleaned regular which was great, having new towels was very good never had that before. the pool and bar area was great we were aware of the new works going on and there was no disruptions to us while works were going on. looking forward to returning with my children as i feel they will enjoy it. one suggestion would be a gym area as having teenager boys this is always an ask!

The best

We have been here several times and love the peaceful location despite the close proximity to ‘the strip’. The rooms are basic, showing signs of age and wear with an ‘old charm’ but always spotless. Our balcony had a broken patio chair that was changed without our asking by the cleaners. Thank you. Reception staff always friendly and helpful and accommodated my request on booking. Always enough sun beds and parasols, and I’m pleased to see they have a towel time check and will remove if necessary. The pool is not heated but fabulous. We had a late flight so were able to leave our cases with reception until the evening.

To be improved

Smokers on the next balcony, noisy guests (the walls are very thin) who dont give a damn arrived at the end of our week. Nothing La Penita can do about this but if it bothers you it’s worth mentioning. There are renovations taking place presently which were made aware of prior to our stay and didn’t bother us. However this meant that the toilet/shower facility we have used previously after check out wasn’t available which we hadn’t thought about. We did think maybe a portaloo could have been provided on site at the very least for those less mobile as we had to go find a cafe down town.

The location and the pool area and bar etc was great and the staff was extremely helpful and friendly.

To be improved

No courtesy room for guests checking out at 12pm and with a late flight back and also no air conditioning which is badly needed.

•La Peñita is located in a very nice spot, out of the way from the busy streets but still only a 3-4 minute walk. •The apartment was clean on arrival and was cleaned regularly. •The pool and it's area was clean and well organised. •There was a good amount of appliances (coffee machine for example) •Checked in close to 11PM and it was very easy despite it being a virtual check in. •Dedicated WiFi in the room •Secured area and felt like a safe area Overall very happy

To be improved

Very minor points •Smaller size TV with only 5-6 English TV channels with no streaming services •Pool was on the colder side •No AC only fans but it was still cool enough
