Apartamentos Los Maites - 1º Linea de Playa - Vista al mar

I had a truly awful stay at this apartment, which was falsely advertised as a “deluxe studio.” The reality was far from it: The apartment was not located at the address listed in the booking. The swimming pool was not operational, despite being a featured amenity. The kitchen sink was leaking, and instead of being repaired, a bucket was hidden behind a dish rack to catch the water. The fridge leaked water inside, requiring us to use a shirt to prevent it from spreading. There was an ant trap in the kitchen and a mouse trap under the washing machine in the bathroom — clear signs of a pest problem. Only one set of keys was given to two guests, limiting our freedom to move independently. We were provided with only two small, old towels for a 7-day stay and were warned not to get them dirty. When we asked for more, we were told it would cost extra. The bathroom constantly smelled of sewage, making it unpleasant and nearly unusable. When we complained, the response was simply, “We’ll inform management.” No resolution, no compensation. The mattress was extremely uncomfortable, and the neighbors were very noisy, making it difficult to sleep. To call this a “deluxe” studio is an outright misrepresentation — it would be more accurate to describe it as a deluxe garbage dump. I have photographic evidence of nearly everything mentioned (except the smell, obviously), and I am prepared to share these images if needed. This stay was unacceptable on every level. I am requesting a full refund and strongly urge Booking.com to investigate this listing for false advertising and failure to meet basic standards of hygiene and guest care.
