“Lovely little flat but not so accessible for wheelchair users”

The location is very good and the property is well furnished with plenty of kitchen equipment including cleaning supplies (though a kettle would have been nice). The host was very communicative with the access information which was helpful and I did not worry if I needed to reach out to them for something else. There are multiple close by grocery stores and greengrocers (the former wheelchair accessible also). The space is small but set up pretty well for that, and we were able to use it well. Plenty of good restaurant options nearby also, and a ca. 25-30min walk from the train station. There seems to be communal laundry facilities perhaps although we did not use them.

The property is listed as wheelchair accessible but the lift and the door into the property will not fit any larger wheelchair or a mobility scooter either. My wheelchair is a standard size and I had maximum 1cm of clearance to get through the door into the rooms as well as in the lift even with my hands in my lap, and my slightly larger other wheelchair would definitely not have fit in either! Bathroom definitely not wheelchair accessible either (no grab bars, the walk-in shower has a doorway you have to go through sideways, etc). Also, the floor was very cold, even through two layers of socks it felt like ice even if the room was plenty warm. The description did say that toiletries were provided but this was just shower gel and hand soap (no shampoo or conditioner). Wifi is very spotty, I kept dropping off of it, but when it worked it was fine. Also the hot water ran out while I was taking a shower several times even though they weren't very long showers!
