bar downstairs which is nothing to do with apartment owners was run by very ignorantly owners who didn’t want your custom if you weren’t Dutch. We encountered six cockroaches (not including Dutch woman in bar) in the room 2 were released 4 weren’t so lucky.

No sun loungers, rude staff no one turned up to check us out after multiple communication saying they were on their way, requested 200€ cash on arrival as deposit was there to collect that. Was promised as they couldn’t make it deposit would be transferred back which it hasn’t calls and texts being ignored. Avoid this property like the plague unless you want robbing blind

I’m not usually one to write reviews but I felt I had to for this… Due to our flights arriving late, we had to pay a €30 charge to check in late. We thought this was a bit cheeky, as it’s not the fault of the customer that there is no reception. We had to pay a €200 deposit in cash on arrival, would be a lot better if it was on card as nobody wants to have €200 to take home with them. There are no sunbeds by the pool so you either lay on a tiled floor or don’t use the facility at all. There is no hairdryer at the property. We found a few cockroaches in the corridors and in our room, we don’t really mind bugs but can see that this would really bother some people. The biggest issue we had came when we checked out and it came to returning the deposit. We checked out early, so the host offered to transfer the money back to me via bank transfer instead of meeting us to return the deposit in cash early that morning. I happily accepted this as I didn’t really want to take cash in Euros home with me. I sent the host my bank details straight away and thought nothing of it. After over a week since I had left and no deposit received, I chased up to which I was met with “I had a problem at the bank, tomorrow it will be resolved.” Nothing was received the next day. I chased this up every week, to which i got excuse after excuse. I messaged both the business account on booking.com and an employee on WhatsApp over 50 times over an 8week period, and I was met with excuse after excuse as to why I had not received the deposit yet. Thankfully, after the 8weeks the deposit was returned. However I wasted so much time chasing up something that should’ve been done the minute it was clear the room was left with no damages. I would avoid this place if you don’t want the risk of unnecessary hassle getting back the deposit.

Didn’t have enough toilet tissue for the 5 days we were there however after contacting the host this was sorted really quickly so can’t complain!

Probably needs a couple cups and a kettle
