“The pool was lovely with easy access for the less abled. Close to the beach but lots of steps. Supermarket just round the corner and short distance to the centre. · Cons: The Jacuzzi didn't work in the pool and it felt a little like being in a goldfish bowl as the other tall hotel had all the balconies over looking at the pool. The music coming from that hotel was loud and sometimes went on till 11pm Ground floor apartment was nice except for the cat, kept pooing on the grass and so couldn't sit/eat outside and we had to keep doors shut due to smell so got very hot as no aircon. Beds are also very hard with such a flat pillow.”

“Great location and amazing value”

The best

Location is excellent. Just east of the main part of town and very quiet. Many of the apartments overlook the ocean and the building itself is only a block away from the seawall which runs all the way to the main beach and to the dunes.

To be improved

This is less about the apartment itself and more about the other guests but because it gets very warm at night and there is no a/c, I had the windows and sliding door open to let the air in. My neighbours were very loud well past the 10pm curfew. As a prepared traveller, I always carry ear plugs, so it wasn't a major issue for me and I was fully aware that Maspalomas is a party town, but for an unprepared travellers, the noise could be an problem.

“Great value, relaxing pool and ambiance, helpful staff, easy check in and out, big rooms”

The best

Apartamentos Montemayor have a great layout of the building, easy but secure way in, access to rooms by stairs or by lift if you carry luggage and only 2 floors which is great, you dont waste time every day by walking a mile to your room on 11th floor or something. Pool is great, with surrounding greenery and palm trees. It wasnt very crowded, only couple people usually come, so sometimes you can have it only for yourself. Rooms are not small at all. Big balcony with chairs and table, regular sized kitchen (minus oven, but you have microwave and 3 cooking induction/glass plates and bunch of pots and pans to use). Fridge is good, it also have a deep freezer section. Location was alright, to me, in the street where Apt. Montemayor are there are bus stops which get you to Las Palmas, Mogan, Airport LPA, everywhere you like. There is some walking to be done if you want to visit Dunes of Maspalomas every day and its beaches. If not, you have pool or nearby beach (Playa Viril?) Staff is great, ladies that work there are really helpful. Would come again thats for sure, as I already said it to the staff while checking out.

To be improved

Couple details, not much, cooking pans are ready to be changed, they are done for, because non stick material on them is totally scratched from use of metal forks and whatnot, so i didnt used them much. Pillows could be better, but thats only me, maybe others wont mind. Nice touch would be some kind of bath gel or hair shampoo, there was nothing in bathroom.
