The room beds are very thin and just wood. You will be using the same towels for all your reservations and if you ask them to change the towels they will change you extra fee. No toilet paper, no thing is inside the appointment except a wooden table. No air conditioning and no mosquitoes protection in the windows. Basically no thing is there.

The decor is basic and drab, but I was expecting that. Bigger issues: they do not provide the basics that nearly all hotels and apartment rentals do -- not even a tiny soap bar or bottle of shampoo. On request, they gave us something to clean dishes with, and they didn't give us enough detergent even for two days. You have to buy everything at the little store downstairs, which has limited hours. We had no cold water for an hour or two on the second evening. The furniture setup in the living area is very odd -- there's no sofa or armchair, but a huge dining table that seats 6 even though the kitchen only has 3 forks, 3 spoons, and 2 knives. The bathroom smelled "swampy" on the first day, but somehow improved on the second day (maybe due to the plumbing work they were doing that caused the cold water interruption?). The elevator sometimes stopped at random floors without the doors opening (but fortunately would continue if you pressed the button again). You also have to put sheets on the beds yourself (not a big deal for me).

Check in: You pick up a key at the reception desk at the hotel nearby. The process was easy and efficient - but not mentioned AT ALL in the booking documents! We had to find a tourist information office and ask for help. Surely this is easy to fix. Heat/ventilation: it was very very hot during our midsummer stay. There’s no air conditioning & no fan. At the price, that’s to be expected, but there’s also no mosquito netting on the windows, so we couldn’t leave the windows open to cool the room down overnight. We tried to let a little evening air in, before we put the light on, but still managed to get some mosquitoes in the room. I’m highly allergic, and still suffering from the bites.

Very unpolite people working in reception. They could show us where's the breakfast, breakfast building doors we're locked and later the chef kicked us out.

No cleaning products and nothing to buy locally. It would have been nice to have advanced notice of this.

It's a bit confusing on arrival to collect the keys, then trapsing back up to the apartments. All in all, it's not too bad, we were just a bit weiry from travelling.
