I am never one to leave bad reviews but this was awful. I booked and paid for a modern open plan 2 bedroom apartment but was advised on arrival that the balcony had scaffolding surrounding it due to the exterior renovations to the building taking place and therefore was not useable. I was not advised prior to my arrival of the exterior building work going on and how it would affect my booking. I was offered an alternative apartment which i was told the equivalent of what i had booked and the balcony was accessible. I chose this apartment. Upon arriving in the apartment it was clearly not the equivalent of what i had booked. It was much smaller and was much older in décor and facilities i.e. Kitchen and bathroom. Within minutes of being in the apartment we could hear drilling which was from the adjacent apartment which upon investigation was having renovation works done and had builders in. Upon going on the balcony we had to endure all the dust from the works going on next door and was restricted in opening the patio doors when they were working due to this. The pool was also surrounded with temporary fencing preventing you from sitting on the grass area in order to enjoy the pool. I didn't see one person using this in the 7 days we were there. Sun loungers are provided in your apartment which you have to transport downstairs in the smallest lifts in order to sit anywhere around the pool. I complained to the property managing company in charge of issuing the keys and was advised there was nothing they could do. I complained to Booking.com immediately as i would of accepted a refund and booked somewhere else but was advised that we was given an alternative solution ( which was the apartment we was staying in) and that nothing more would be done. As a result of the above we spent as little time in the accommodation as possible and was disappointed in the response we received from the managing agents we collected the keys from as they clearly did not care.

“Location was perfect · Cons: We didn't receive any clean towels. There was maintenance going on one like at 11 o'clock drilling walls never said a word to us about it. When needed assistance was never anyone on the premises. Took 300 out of the 600 euro deposit we put down. Not a single thing had been broken in the apartment. Would never go back stay well clear of this place.”

“Perfect location for beach and pool. Close to Marina.”

The best

Perfect location 5 minute walk from the marina and across the promenade from the beach. Lovely pool which was quiet during our stay. Debbie the agent has an office close by and is very helpful.

It was very easy to find our way around and the marina area is excellent for food and drink. · Cons: No Aircon in the bedrooms and one fan in the first bedroom is too noisy to keep on at night. The pool was out of bounds until 5 days into our 7 day stay.”
