“Halfway between the train station and the historic district”

Very well equipped, roomy, modern apt. It has all the conviences of home - good-sized living room with flat-screen TV across from a comfortable couch and easy chair, dining table with four comfortable chairs, fully equipped kitchen with all new appliances, clothes washer and drying rack, even an iron and ironing board. It has a private entrance on the rear of the building on a huge open courtyard area with a neighborhood pub 15 ft. from the door. It's one of the best apts. we've stayed in, and we've stayed in dozens over the years.

To be improved

It isn't in the historic district. The street has six-story apt. buildings on both sides with street-level shops. It's about a 15 minute walk to the historic Plaza Mayor. The very busy street had us worried, but the unit has high quality sound-blocking windows, making it surprisingly quiet. The location facing the street, on what we Americans call the second floor (SP: primera planta), gives you a nice view of people walking by across the street. We even watched a religious procession pass by below.
