“Very enjoyable, beautiful location.”

The best

The location was excellent, overlooking the beautiful Barbate beach and close to bars/restaurants/supermarket. Apartment was basic but clean and bed was very comfortable.

To be improved

There was a lovely rooftop pool with sunloungers but no shade whatsoever, so we were unable to sit there. We were 2 couples, sharing a 2 bed apartment but were only allowed to park one car in the underground parking lot, despite it being virtually empty.

“It's super close to the beach and the pool is amazing. · Cons: No soap or any basic toiletries (beyond paper, fortunately). It would also be nice to have salt, oil, coffee. Basic kitchen stuff.”

“A room with a view in Barbate”

The best

for this place, it's all about the location. It's a very simple apartment hotel. I love the seaview. I t is the reason that I return here every year (mostly). It's got a stocked kitchen that allows me to cook the seafood that is possible to buy at the local markets.

To be improved

The place is ageing and could use some freshening up. Nevertheless, I'm still planning to visit again next year!

“Cons: 1. Check-in is between 17 and 21h. In the booking, I requested a check-in between 16 and 17h. They replied that they could not guarantee complying that. On my day of ARRIVAL they wrote to ask what time I would be arriving, seeing as the reception desk would close at 18h! What would have happened if I had booked a later bus to accommodate their check-in times between 17 and 21h? Upon arrival at 1710h I had to telephone them because the reception desk was closed! 2. Wifi was practically non-existent as ONLY available at the front DOOR of the appartment! Their maintenace man said this was the case in all of the 55 apartments of the building. He said this was the fault of Telefonica, their provider. I find that hard to believe. Wifi did NOT improve during the entire week I was there.”
