“Just brilliant. we adore it there, our second visit and we will be back again!”

Picked up the keys from the restaurant. Staff were really welcoming and friendly. The location is absolutely brilliant. Everything we could want is on our doorstep. Beach, bars, loads of places to eat, shops, pharmacy, even a doctors, activities, amusements, just wonderful.

To be improved

The only downside I would say is that it would be brilliant not to have to buy salt and pepper and oil for the kitchen as that all had to be left behind and seems really wasteful.

“Perfect location but VERY hot at night.”

The apartment is absolutely ideally located – very close to the beach, town and some very decent restaurants. The apartments are comfortable and were kept very clean with towels and bedding changed two or three times in our week. The lady in the reception area was very friendly and helpful. BUT Restaurants, cafes and supermarkets in the town were fine, we particularly liked the beach bar/restaurant Buah, less than 100 yards away which we found excellent, M&M café (on the way to Buah) and the Chinese in town. The restaurant directly underneath the apartments was OK. All in all we liked the apartment but wouldn’t return as without and air movement it was uncomfortably hot.

To be improved

The lack of air conditioning was a major problem. There were two ceiling fans – the bedroom fan was very slow; the living room fan was fine and my wife had to sleep in there a few times. Air conditioning would be best but even a decent fan would help and needn’t be that expensive – I’m not talking a Dyson just a decent fan. There wasn’t a hairdryer, iron or washing-up liquid. When we mentioned this to the receptionist she said she had some on reception we could borrow – why wasn’t this put on a sign? We were only woken once by a group of inconsiderates who couldn’t speak quietly and decided to shout at each other at 4.15 in the morning, carrying on for 20-30 minutes.

We have never stayed in such a bad place. Old and uncomfortable beds. Very old furniture, kitchen and bathroom. Even the shower didn't work, they fixed it later. No air conditioning. In such an expensive place, we regretted it very much. There are much better and suitable places nearby.
