The best

Really nice apartment in O Pindo, plenty of space, good facilities and very well kept. Our hosts were welcoming and helpful, and live nearby if there are any problems. The village is beautiful and felt quiet with plenty of space on the beach even in high season. Local shop is good with most things you need. There is an amazing walk up the mountain behind the village (start early, it's a long steep route). Plenty to see and do within a few miles, wide unspoilt beaches, restaurants, waterfalls, hiking. Would definitely visit again.

To be improved

The local festival was on the first night we stayed, which we did enjoy and you should definitely go if it's on when you're there (music, funfair, out-side bar), but it does go on late into the night.

“Generally very relaxing holiday in a lovely part of Galicia”

The best

Comfortable self catering apartment as a base from which to explore this part of Galicia. We found generally well equipped with a lovely garden. The hosts were friendly and helpful. We particularly recommend the restaurant in Ezaro.

To be improved

An indoor clothes horse (tendedero) for drying clothes in wet weather and a parasol (sombrilla) for the terrace would be useful additions.
