Apartamentos Plaza Mayor

We stayed here with my wife and our 9-year-old daughter. For three people, the flat turned out to be very cramped, which wouldn't have been a major issue if not for other significant drawbacks. The flat had no ventilation or air conditioning whatsoever. To simply breathe, we had to keep the windows open, but that's when the real problems began: the street below leads to a bustling bar area, so noisy crowds of young people would pass by beneath our windows until 5 am. On top of this, there are underground rubbish containers right opposite, which are routinely emptied at inconvenient hours, around 2 am and again at 7 am. Closing the windows to block out the noise wasn't an option, as this would leave us with no fresh air, and to make matters worse, thousands of mosquitoes would swarm into the flat whenever the windows were open. There were no mosquito nets or even sheer curtains, nor any mosquito repellents provided. I've not been bitten this badly since visiting the Russian swamps. All in all, we didn't manage a proper night's sleep the entire week.

There was absolutely nothing in the kitchen! Of course, the host is not obligated to provide you with coffee or food. But if a person comes for 1-2 days, then it would be nice to have salt, sugar and something for washing clothes. Even cheap. I had to buy a pack of sugar and other stuff and leave it there. Extremely bad mattress. I asked for double bed for 1 person, but my room had 2 beds pushed together. They have very cheap and light mattresses that move apart easily, and you have to sleep on 1 bed anyway.

Like almost all of the apartments I`ve rented on this trip,the lack of basics (example salt) can be annoying

The property is on a busy street. Opening the windows to let fresh air in was not an option. there are loud motorcycles that roar by every minute. The apartment is also very small.

The parking was a pain. We had to use a local parking company which was very expensive and some distance away.
